For weeks OSU students and faculty have been subjected to phishing attacks through the ONID webmail system.

The problem is increasing, and despite warnings from the OSU Technology Support Services many students are still responding to these emails, causing problems for the entire ONID system.

Pauling and Cameron hypothesized that large doses of vitamin C could inhibit tumor growth in cancer patients by activating an immune response by the patient.

Oregon State scored fast and often as they put up 66 points in their 66-13 victory over Washington State.

It appeared the Cougars were in for a long game on defense when the Beavers ran only two plays in less than a minute to score the first touchdown of the game on a 30-yard touchdown pass to senior Sammie Stroughter from junior quarterback Lyle Moevao.

An injury-stricken Washington State University football team visited Corvallis on Saturday afternoon, only to leave in worse condition than they arrived.

A 66-13 routing of the Cougars resembled that of a Varsity-JV scrimmage rather than the Pac-10 match-up that it was.

I have often dreamed of a scenario in which the day before a final, I need only to sleep with my textbook under my pillow so that the concepts, facts and figures will simply seep into my brain. Impossible, you say? I believed it to be impossible, too. That is, until Alaska Governor Sarah Palin came along and opened my eyes and introduced me to the strange and bizarre world of foreign policy by osmosis! I was so happy when I learned that she had the ability to understand Russian affairs because Russia was only separated from Alaska by a narrow maritime border.

I really enjoy those first two weeks of the new college year, but they're definitely an interesting phenomenon. Everyone promises themselves that they'll go to class every day, actually do the readings and will totally start going to Dixon again. Unfortunately, it's the third week of school and the magic of being back at college is starting to wear off.

This is the time of year when energy demands increase dramatically and the economic strain of high gas prices and other energy sources force the poor into making choices they shouldn't have to make.
