Galvanic Design, MUPC brings loads of snow to MU Quad; boarders, skiers participate
Thursday's weather forecast was sunny and partly cloudy with a temperature of 75 degrees - and a bit of "Snow in the Quad."
This year's Snow in the Quad event was put on by Galvanic Design along with assistance from the MUPC.
The event took place in the MU Quad and featured snowboarders and skiers from around the Northwest.

OSU offers new method to prevent sexual harassment
Site launches in response to 2006 survey by the American Association of University Women
Sexual assault and harassment has plagued many universities around the nation with several acts of violence happening every week.
Many universities have set up programs and information on how to prevent such acts.
According to a press release, OSU is a leading institution in this regard with its new training Web site that describes ways to prevent and address these kinds of issues.
New calculator program helps communication
Texas Instruments product gives instructors insight into thought processes of students
The TI-Navigator, a new product from Texas Instruments, could soon be coming to a classroom near you. The TI-Navigator system sends signals from students' calculators to the instructors' computer screen, providing a wireless communication between students and teachers.

10:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 9 - OSU student Tyler Samples, 19, was seen burning some substance on the fifth floor of the parking garage. When he was approached, his backpack was searched. Officers found 4.7 ounces of marijuana, a digital scale, $383 in cash, several marijuana seeds and a grinder.
