Earlier in the year, during the congressional session, OSU asked for $15 million to help fund and invest in the research of its natural resources programs.

The new Oregon State University athletic logo was unveiled April 3, and a large number of students were less than enthusiastic about the change. The change was inspired by university desire to set itself apart from other OSUs in Division-I athletics, Oklahoma State University and Ohio State University.

Students can experience the world beyond Corvallis right on campus. The International Students of Oregon State University is offering that opportunity through five positions for which it is hiring. "A lot of students think that ISOSU is a niche for international students, but it's not," said Parvathy Binoy, ISOSU's co-development coordinator.
