Condoms and candy break the ice for students at the Centro Cultural César Chavez
It was beginning to sound like a Marcy Playground song, but the Centro Cultural César Chavez was not hosting a '90s pop band.
"Condoms and Candies" - not to be confused with the 1998 song "Sex and Candy" - was a night of sexual education hosted by the 4Cs.

The H.J. Andrews National Experimental Forest has been nominated for a comprehensive ecological observation program by the National Ecological Observation Network this month.

A packed crowd filled the MU Ballroom last night as Rock Our World, a concert, sustainability fair and environmental art show educated the community on environmental issues and concerns.
The event - in conjunction with the ASOSU Environmental Affairs Task Force, MUPC and the personal efforts of Matt Jager, a senior in music production - featured four bands, more than 10 informational booths and eight art pieces all relating to the efforts both the OSU community and city of Corvallis can make to better the environment.
Bicyclist fails to signal, is struck by car
Corvallis resident Christopher Lightening suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a car after failing to signal while making a left turn on his bike, according to the Oregon State Police.
