The former OSU student and Phi Kappa Psi fraternity member, Gregory Thomas Sako, 20, was found guilty on the counts of rape and sexual abuse in the first degree after allegedly raping a 21-year-old Portland woman at a 2008 Halloween party.

Seniors from the College of Engineering got the chance to show off their skills at the 10th annual Engineering Expo on Friday. The expo, which took place in Kelley Engineering Center, featured many different projects and designs.
Over 100 student-built projects were displayed, ranging from malaria treatments to telerobotic arms.

Friday night more than 1,000 participants showed up in the MU Quad to set up camp to raise money and fight the battle against cancer.
Relay For Life is an annual event for the American Cancer Society, and takes place at different venues across the nation.
Scottish-born visiting author discusses writing process

In the final event of the OSU Visiting Writers Series on Friday night, the English department welcomed award-winning author, Margot Livesey, to read from her latest novel, "The House on Fortune Street."
The Scottish-born novelist has written six novels since 1986, as well as released a collection of short stories.
