Diversions's first look at new season of '24'

The following article was written between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. I now know what it is like to be Jack Bauer. No, I've never fought terrorists or saved the country from any sort of attack. I am like Jack Bauer because I have seen the first four episodes of the seventh and newest season of 24.

OSU film-makers: Last chance to enter the da Vinci Film Festival

Jan. 15 is the final submission date for films to be reviewed and accepted to the 2009 da Vinci Film Fest. The group is looking for more young film-makers to have their films featured at the fest and are excited by the films submitted so far. The da Vinci Film Fest is in its 10th year of existence and second year as a stand-alone fest.

Band built on word of mouth, continuing to grow

What started five years ago as a glorified solo project has turned into a house party favorite. Now, chemicalwarbear has been representing Corvallis as a full band for more than two years. Brainchild of guitarist-vocalist, Gabe Norris, chemicalwarbear has been working hard to establish its new name, adopted last April.
