So the time has come: the end of Week 9. We all know what this means: Monday marks the beginning of Dead Week. Yes, the week when no tests are supposed to be given. The week when no events are supposed to take place on campus. However, this is also the week when professors push their students to get that term paper in by the end of the week - because they, too, want to get out of here as soon as possible once Finals Week hits.

I've been thinking a lot about pregnancy lately, even though the subject isn't directly relevant to my life just yet. With the recent passage of Mother's Day and the subsequent time spent among my siblings and their young children, it's inevitable that kids would be on my mind a little.

This past weekend I had an encounter with Wolf Girl. While this may appear to be a superhero encounter, that assumption is entirely wrong. Rather, Wolf Girl was a plain, mini-van driving plebe just like the rest of us. Only one thing was different, her license plate.
