Every young athlete has dreams. Some dream of winning a National Championship. Some dream of becoming an NCAA Individual Champion. Some dream of receiving a Division-I scholarship, while others dream of representing their country at the most prolific international competition, the Olympic Games.
The Army did something right? Yes Sir!
Memorial Day is right around the corner and this is a fitting time to sit back and remember those who have served our country in the past, paying the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
As an avid sports fan that was in the United States Navy for over 10 years prior to coming to this fine educational institution, I have some pretty affectionate feelings towards everyone who has served and currently serves in our armed forces, including athletes at the service academies.

Postseason ends for Oregon State men's golf team with 16th place finish at Division-I regional
The Oregon State men's golf team finished in 16th place at the NCAA Division-I West Regional in Bremerton, Wash., hosted by the University of Washington.
The University of Southern California took home the first place trophy at the event with the only subpar score as a team.
Ryan Johnson continues to ball
Standout soccer player at OSU moves on to play in Major League
Ryan Johnson, a former Oregon State men's soccer standout (2002-05) and the Beavers career assist leader, has signed on with the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. Johnson signs with the squad after spending the past indoor season with the New Jersey Ironmen and a year with Oster IF in Sweden in 2007.
