As students have probably heard by now, the ID Center is working on making student ID cards have more useful features. So far, there have been very few negative things said about the possible changes. Even though the ID card makeover might be another great attempt to help financially struggling students, the potential effects should be inspected.

There are photographs that are instantly recognized by everyone: the raising of the American flag on Iwo Jima, a partially shadowed, distant Earth seen from the moon, a determined and weary Che Guevara. I'm sure even from these incomplete descriptions you can picture them.

One day I'm sure I'll be shipping my parents off to some fancy little retirement home. However, I'm a bit concerned that day will come sooner than I expected. Over spring break, my parents decided it would be best to replace their children with puppies. My dad was many steps beyond excited.
