Comedian Bobby Lee to make OSU appearance
MADtv personality, 'Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle's actor performs Saturday at LaSells
He appeared on the big screen as Kenneth Park in "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," he has been a regular cast member on MADtv since 2001 and on Saturday, April 5, comedian Bobby Lee will be performing at LaSells Stewart Center.
The event has been made possible by Ohana Entertainment and on campus by sophomore Jacob Curtis.
OSU discusses debit card option
Students may soon be able to access bank account through student identification card
In the future, students may find that they can use their ID cards for more than just a quick meal on campus. The ID Center is discussing a debit card option for student ID cards.
A debit card option added to OSU ID cards has its perks and disadvantages.
"We just wanted the card to be more functional on and off campus," said Casey Dale, the card production coordinator.
Students overestimate sex, alcohol
Only 22 percent of OSU students had sex with two or more people in previous year
When it comes to the sum of sexual partners and drinks per week, OSU students are grossly overestimating their peers.
The 2006 National College Health Assessment, a study conducted by the American College Health Association, concluded that 80 percent of OSU students thought that fellow classmates had slept with two or more people in the last year.
Gathering cell phones for soldiers
Cell phones donated to be refurbished before going to deployed American soldiers
The Pak Mail Center of Corvallis is going the extra mile to support members of the United States armed forces who are hospitalized or deployed overseas.
Through a cooperative program with parent company Pak Mail Centers of America, Inc. and the nonprofit organization Cell Phones for Soldiers, the store has begun collecting used cell phones to raise funds to provide calling cards for the troops.

2:03 a.m., Wednesday, April 2 - 36-year-old Aaron V. Harner of Corvallis was arrested on S.W. Philomath Blvd. and S.W. Sunset Dr. when police discovered a felony warrant for his arrest out of Benton County Parole and Probation. The warrant was issued for absconding supervision.
