Dear daylight-savings, I hope you die
So are you ready to set your clocks forward this weekend? Yeah, me neither - losing an hour of sleep sucks. In fact it's probably enough to piss me off about a week in advance. Why? Because sleep is effing amazing - you get to just lie there in a state of decreased consciousness for hours on end.

Time for candy or politics?

When I get drunk, I want candy. I want Milk-Duds and peanut butter M&M's and oodles and oodles of Tootsie rolls. My previously multi-tasking mind deposits itself on a one-track road to sugary goodness. When Dan drinks, he wants to debate. He wants political arguments and global warming dissection.

Response to '-ism' column Alcoholism isn't a disease In the Barometer's article on alcoholism in the media, it is stated that alcoholism is a disease. I know that the Barometer is just the messenger in this case, but saying that alcoholism is a disease is a slap in the face to everyone who has ever had a real disease like cancer.
