Did you know if you went to Fred Meyer today to buy cold medicine, you would be asked for your ID? No, it's true, you're not buying alcohol, but there is increased importance on the crackdown on young adults purchasing over the counter medication to get high.
Dear daylight-savings, I hope you die
So are you ready to set your clocks forward this weekend? Yeah, me neither - losing an hour of sleep sucks. In fact it's probably enough to piss me off about a week in advance. Why? Because sleep is effing amazing - you get to just lie there in a state of decreased consciousness for hours on end.

When I get drunk, I want candy. I want Milk-Duds and peanut butter M&M's and oodles and oodles of Tootsie rolls. My previously multi-tasking mind deposits itself on a one-track road to sugary goodness.

Alcoholism isn't a disease
In the Barometer's article on alcoholism in the media, it is stated that alcoholism is a disease. I know that the Barometer is just the messenger in this case, but saying that alcoholism is a disease is a slap in the face to everyone who has ever had a real disease like cancer.
