The MU Commons is a popular place for students to grab a meal - but students who live on campus and have a meal plan through University Housing and Dining Services are at a disadvantage. UHDS works hard at having a variety of options for students and thus far seems to be doing a good job.

On this day 35 years ago, the historic Roe v. Wade case was decided by the Supreme Court, legalizing abortion in the United States. In this 7-2 ruling, it was decided that a woman had the right to an abortion in the first trimester, leaving the states the ability to regulate abortions in ways that are reasonably related to the health of the woman.

Many people might have heard of the Vietnamese Tet (Traditional New Year), but not many people actually know about it. The Vietnamese New Year is based on the Vietnamese Luna calendar. It runs from Feb. 7-10 this year. Nevertheless, we start to celebrate this special event on Feb.

Norovirus Packaged Fruit I understand the concern about the norovirus and its potential effect on the dining halls and on campus in general. First it was with the bleach kits that came to all of the halls. Then it was the packaging of the salad bar (iceberg lettuce, a tomato and some cucumber - oh yay) and the banning of the salt and pepper shakers.
