Federal work-study cut short at OSU

Assessment of program leads to cuts in awards; regular student employment not affected
Students who have accepted the Federal College Work Study program as part of their financial aid package, but did not go through the job referral process, can expect their work-study awards to be cancelled. "The program itself is not being cancelled," said Emilio Vejil, director of OSU's Financial Aid and Scholarships.

New law affects OSU students

"We were just walking along the street, going from one friend's house to another, I grabbed a beer and drank half of it," said Jason Castle, a freshman majoring in business. "My two buddies ran, but we were all caught eventually." A law that came into effect in January has made it possible for persons issued minor in possession citations to have their license suspended for a minimum of 90 days.

MU provides after hours entertainment
