Progress shown during 2007
Although consistent play was missing at times, OSU volleyball moved up in tough conference
Consistency was hard to come by for the OSU volleyball team, as the team started of their 2007 season with a five-game win over Colorado State before finishing the year with a five-game loss to lowly Washington State.

After winning Pac-10 title for first time since 1994, OSU wrestling must replace six regular starters
The No. 24 Oregon State wrestling team is proving to be just as dominant as last year's Pac-10 Championship squad, having already posted victories over Portland State (41-3) and Simon Fraser University (30-13) to begin the season.
Despite losing four starters and seven lettermen, including heavyweight All-American and Pac-10 champion Ty Watterson, and Pac-10 champion Jeremy Larson (174 pounds), a young Beavers squad has lost none of its swagger or determination.

With team's top two players gone from last season, senior Ashley Allen leads young lineup for OSU
Only five games into the 2007-2008 season, the Oregon State women's basketball team is already hobbled with injuries.
Last season, this would have been an issue for the Beavers (4-1) and their roster of only nine players. This season though, they have added depth with a group of strong freshmen, a transfer and a player returning after a year off.
111 years of glory
It's the green and yellow vs. the black and orange. On Saturday, the Ducks and the Beavers will go head-to-head on the football field, and feathers and fur will fly in the annual 111th Civil War rivalry game. Both teams are playing after roller coaster seasons in which both were witnessed in bumpy and smooth spots.
