Famous OSU cross country, track alums will come back to Corvallis for homecoming weekend, watch Beavers at Pac-10 meet
Many Beaver enthusiasts might not realize this, but Oregon State's most successful athletic program to date is arguably the cross country and track program. This might sound like a ridiculous argument at first, especially considering that the vast majority of fans probably don't even realize that they had such rich tradition.

Baseball swings away in team scrimmages

Veteran leadership has strong outings in first two games of Orange and Black World Series while new class continues to improve during fall season
The Oregon State baseball team could not decide on a winner in the second game of the Orange and Black World Series on Tuesday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Despite an early lead from the black club, the game ended in a 7-7 tie in the seven-inning affair.

Allenby guides men's golf to fifth place

Senior comes up huge with two-over par performance to finish in top five individually, helping OSU in Big 10/Pac-10 Challenge
The Oregon State men's golf team concluded action at the Big 10/Pac-10 Challenge as James Allenby lead the Beavers with a fifth-place finish at the event. Oregon State ended the day in the same place in which it started as the Beavers finished with a round three score of 15 over par to finish in seventh place with a three-round total of 907 (300-304-303).

Change is good

Any archaeologist would dig Ashley Evans. Pun intended. He might even try that as a pick-up line. I hope she is spoken for. At least that would explain the guy in Gill during volleyball games with Evans' mug shot on his shirt. The Oregon State volleyball libero has earned more than just her face on some cotton.
