Luau brings Hawaii, Polynesia to OSU
The dreary, gray skies of late April may still be hanging over head, but Saturday night students will have the opportunity to indulge in tropical island culture as they don their best Hawaiian shirts and get lei-ed - at OSU's 52nd Annual Luau.
The event, presented by the Hui O Hawaii Club and the Polynesian Culture Club, may be a bit more expensive than other campus events, but as show coordinator Rochelle "Mimi" Keko points out: "It's not as expensive as paying airfare to Hawaii.
Beatles head to the other side of OSU for awareness
"Domestic violence is an epidemic that destroys lives and it happens at OSU. We want to get people to think about it and see that," said Charles Parker, co-founder of 'The Beatles at OSU."
Parker and friends, along with CARDV and the Women's Center, are all trying to stop the violence by creating awareness, in this case through music.

Ari discovers on Entourage that he's becoming soft and has lost his hardened edge until he talks to his shrink to get it back. Vince continues to be non-committal to his agent, Amanda, regarding a project, until he admits that he finds her attractive.
This has now been several episodes that we are still left hanging about whether or not Ari's offer to Vince of the film "Medellin" is real, leading us to believe that Ari will soon represent Vince again.
'Hot Fuzz' knocks 'em dead with hilarity
The absolute absurdity of "Hot Fuzz" brings out of one the most comically genius movies in a long time.
Brought to the screen by the same writers who became infamous after "Shaun of the Dead," writers Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright prove that lightening can strike the same place twice.

Scarlett eats it: Anyone who remotely knows me (and a lot of people do - because I'm kind of a big deal) knows that I fall a lot.
I just recently saw a video of sweet Scarlett falling down some stairs after a Saturday Night Live after-party in New York. She was trying, as anyone would, to avoid the paparazzi by putting a coat over her head - which makes seeing difficult.
Mute Math performs rambunctious, entertaining show
The Saturday night was filled with your typical loud music and rowdy crowd. But everything was different once Mute Math walked onto the stage - the whole atmosphere dramatically changed. Special effects, keytars, international fans, cellos, even flying bras fill the evening.

Designing women (and two men)
Last weekend I pulled an all-nighter to finish sewing a gown for my advanced apparel design class. By the time I was done, the dress was covered in blood (I lose needle coordination with each passing hour), sweat, tears (I'm a crier when sleep deprived) and a bit of Dairy Queen cookie dough Blizzard (I'm also a stress eater).
