Men's crew completes strong weekend down in California

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - To close out the Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic, the No. 19 ranked Oregon State men's rowing team finished strong with two victories in the Stanford hosted event. The Varsity 8+ defeated Gonzaga by nearly four seconds and the Junior Varsity 8+ defeated Loyola Marymount by 15 and a half seconds at Redwood Shores.

It was a sunny, yet windy day Saturday at Reser Stadium as the Oregon State football team suited up for their first full contact scrimmage of the spring season. The day saw a dominant performance by the defense, as they recorded three interceptions, several jaw-dropping hits and held the offense to just two touchdowns.

Coming out of a long winter break and spring thaw, the Oregon State Women's Soccer Club dropped their opening game of the spring season against Oregon in Eugene, 2-0, on Saturday.
"We played pretty well for the most part," said second-year coach Jake Norquist, who is a senior majoring in business.
