The OSU Beavers maintained their focus and got the job done against the visiting Portland State Vikings, with seniors Brianne McGowan and Ta'Tyana McElroy leading the way during a double-header Tuesday in Corvallis.
If the Vikings were hoping to catch the Beavers napping while they recover from a close loss to rival Oregon, and with 12th-ranked UCLA on the horizon, they were sorely disappointed.

Oregon State men's basketball coach Jay John announced Tuesday that five players will not be returning for next season. Junior Sasa Cuic has decided to start a professional career. Juniors Angelo Tsagarakis and Liam Hughes will graduate and then transfer to play their final years at other schools.
Fifth annual 'Other side' talent show set for today
Beaver fans will have the opportunity next week to watch Oregon State student-athletes perform in a totally different venue than their typical places of competition, as the fifth annual "The Other Side" talent show is set to take place today.
The event will be held at the LaSells Stewart Center.
