There is a tremendous amount of misinformation in here. I really encourage the Barometer to talk with Sabah Randhawa or Becky Johnson to clarify the conversations that are underway. It would have been more constructive if the Barometer staff had contacted the Provost before running their article so that it could have been fact-based.
