Obama in, Bush be gone
Abstract:
As winter term begins, most of us return to OSU campus stuffed from the feasts and festivities that we call the holidays, ready to resume business as usual, or maybe that's just me. It will be interesting to see if competency can replace comedy as we welcome a new president....

I think Bush has done more to further the socialist cause in the past 6 months than any president since LBJ. Of course, liberals don't touch that because they love it. However, Bush did keep the country safe, and nobody thought a post-911 USA would be this secure.
I mean, Americans are so busy making fun of Bush they forget he isn't even the president anymore. I disagreed with many of his domestic policies (immigration, McCain-Feingold, bailouts), but it is still the primary role of government to defend its people. He did that. God bless President Bush, and God be with President Obama.

There should be a little more respect for an American President who was elected and the RE-ELECTED to serve his country for eight long and, in the last few, unsuccessful years. The American people discredit his intellect, but then what does that say about us as a people, who elected him? The only person to blame is ourselves. At a time when our country should be so proud of ourselves, it was shaming to hear people call good riddance and boo the Bushs (even Bush senior) as they came out to support Barack. Many things have happened in the last eight years. Have a little tact and respect, America.

Is it still Daily Barometer policy that Baro staffers aren't allowed to comment on the web site?
