We knew Jack Senior, and his wife Val for years. Val and I were artists and traveled to shows together. We co-chaired the Vernonia Artist Association. Jack Jr. was always smiling and such a happy guy. From Grade school through high school, we enjoyed a wonderful friendship and had good times together.
After the flood of 1996, Jackie came out and volunteered with the reconstruction of our office. We had no flood insurance, and were trying to everything to get it all cleaned up and back to business. He just showed up one day, truck and tools, and a smile as big as always. He and his Mom helped us get some crucial mending done.
I remember, we had a "disco" finger wave we used to do when passing. Kinda unique, and silly, but it made me smile. We know how hard his passing is on his family. They have always been close. Our sympathy to the family. He was such a neat guy!
Sincerely,
Dolly & Jerry Keenon
