Lunchables: Everything that is wrong with America in a box
Abstract:
Amid a highly intriguing discussion about ideological state apparatuses and "inculturation" in my nutritional anthropology class last Tuesday, I had an amazing and somewhat disturbing epiphany. It suddenly became clear to me that everything that is wrong with American society can actually be packaged in an innovatively designed cardboard and plastic container about the size of a large book....

I fully agree with you as well. I used to like these meals as a child but now I see how terrible they are in so many ways. I'm happy to say I haven't touched one of those Lunchables boxes since around 4th grade.

Hopefully you noticed as well that the crap isn't limited to "lunchables". The same information applies to any food that contains preservatives!!! We are poisoning ourselves and our children everyday by putting these synthetic hormones into our bodies...hmmmmm, i wonder why our whole country is fat and has ADHD?
